Miss Whitney
Whitney Blackett will be teaching the Kindergarten Readiness (PreK) class this year. Whitney has 13 years of teaching experience as well as a master’s degree in Educational Administration, a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a specialization in Early Childhood. Whitney’s experience gives her an understanding of what children need to know in order to be successful in kindergarten. She is passionate about making school fun and engaging. She especially loves literacy and hopes to instill a love (and foundation) for reading at this young age!

Miss Maddison
Maddison McPherson will be teaching our Little Learners class this year. Maddison has three years of teaching experience. She is extremely loving and patient – the perfect teacher for your child’s first exposure to school. She loves teaching and helping kids learn and grow. Her goal is to make learning fun for your kiddos so that they enjoy coming to school to learn. We are excited to have her at Sunshine Academy!
